Welcome to Talk of Tarragindi
Elizabeth Davidson is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and owner of Talk of Tarragindi.

Liz graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland. Since completing her degree, Liz has had a wonderfully varied career in different locations across Australia, including providing services to children in far reaching and remote locations. Liz has gained her experience in working for the Health Departments in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, private practice in Brisbane and for the Queensland Department of Education.

Liz is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based services to children and their families. She enjoys making therapy sessions fun and engaging (and often a little WILD!). Liz has experience working with babies, children and teens for a range of feeding and communications difficulties. Liz’s special interests include:

  • Severe speech sound disorders
  • Early language skills and late talkers
  • Early childhood stuttering
  • Literacy development (reading and spelling)
  • Infant feeding
Liz has created Talk of Tarragindi as she wanted to create a warm, welcoming clinic, where parents, families and kids feel empowered to be actively involved with the therapeutic process.

Liz is a Tarragindi local, having grown up near Esher Street. She was a part of the Wellers Hill Girl Guides – from Gumnut Guide all the way up to Junior Guide Leader, and spent her primary years at Marshall Road State School. Liz moved back to Tarragindi in 2011, and has been providing private speech pathology services to local families since 2012. Liz is actively involved with the Tarragindi community, and is often seen reading to children at the local playgroup. Liz loves living in the ‘Gindi with her husband, son, four chooks, and Miley, the cat with no tail.
